Four LSU football players were arrested in 2 separate incidents and have been suspended. The players are QB Jennings, CB Thomas, and DL Bain and Lealaimatafao. You can read the article here. " Attorneys Tommy Damico and Brent Stockstill said they disagree with some of the allegations that Jennings, Thomas, Bain and at least three other unknown men busted into an LSU student’s room last Friday and stole his belongings." The attorneys said they are being paid by the athletes, not LSU. The other LSU football player, Lealaimatafao, was arrested Thursday in an unrelated investigation into a fight in a parking lot near Reggie’s Bar.

I don't intend this as a slam on LSU. Unfortunately, in this day and time, it could happen on any campus. Does anyone think that paying athletes will stop this type of behavior? At some point, the athletes must learn that getting a free education and representing their college on a national platform is an honor and they must act accordingly. It will be interesting to see if they are ultimately allowed to return to the team.
