I’m an Ole Miss fan from Mississippi and have loved the rebels since my boyhood idol Archie Manning put them on the map. I’ve seen the ups and downs for more than 50 years. As an adult, I moved to Atlanta and married a stunning UGA beauty and had two sons with her. After years of parenting those boys to be good and loyal Rebels, during the Nutt years I finally said “Look, I have to pull for Ole Miss. You don’t. You live in Georgia and your Mama is a Bulldog. You can pull for them.” My oldest graduated from UGA the year they won the Natty in ‘21. He’s all in. I asked him his thoughts today and he said “It won’t be close.” So tomorrow I will re-write my will to leave his ass penniless. His Mama can console him.
