Does anyone know if it’s possible to get a waiver of the limit of Physical and Occupational Therapy days a health insurance provider allows per year?
I get 30 PT and 30 OT days per year through my BCBS company insurance. My son needs PT and OT 5 days a week, so we hit his limit in no time. If I can’t get him accepted into another funded research study or win some grants, I’m looking at fronting the bill out of pocket.
I’m talking with my HR person as well, but just wanted to see if anyone had firsthand knowledge of the system or my chances of success.
