Scripted plays to start the game

Maybe someone recalls if this has ever been discussed but my goldfish memory can’t get there.

Chime in.

Why do teams normally only script 15 or so plays to start the game. It always seems that once you get past the script our offense has stalled a bit.
Why couldn’t you script 30 plays (with the option to adjust) if scripting it works pretty well?
Is it all down to time frame and what the players can remember and that’s it? Just wondering if there’s another more “Coach” answer.
