Just about every SEC team has at least 1 “inexcusable” loss

The only two that don’t are Georgia and Texas.

#7 Tennessee - Arkansas
#10 A&M - South Carolina (BY 24!)
#14 Bama - vandy (yes this is inexcusable)
#16 LSU - USC (they’re 4-5)
#19 us - obviously we all know
#25 Missouri destroyed by A&M and bama

No other team matters for playoff purposes

Before Tuesday's CFP Rankings, here's The Athletics Prediction 0f 1 thru 12

#1 Oregon
no surprise
#2 Georgia
Wins over Clemson and Texas will outweigh Bama loss
#3 Miami
win over Louisville looms big after Louisville's win over Clemson
#4 BYU
Only undefeated team left in Big 12

#5 Ohio State vs #12 Boise State. Winner plays Oregon
(Boise's only loss is to Oregon)
#6 Texas vs #11 Notre Dame. Winner plays Miami
(Notre Dame's loss to Northern Illinois might drop them lower)
#7 Penn State vs #10 Alabama. Winner plays Georgia
(Bama has 5th highest most difficult schedule)
#8 Tennessee vs #9 Indiana. Winner plays Oregon
(If not for loss to Ark, Vols might be ranked higher)

What a day

Look today was a huge win. It was a borderline swing game for us and we blew them out of the water. We haven’t beaten Arkansas in Fayetteville since 2018. I don’t even know the last time we’ve beaten them when they’ve had a winning season there. Even when we’ve had good seasons Arkansas has always been a thorn in our side.

Saturday is the biggest game on campus since Bama in 14. If we lose we’re out of the playoffs. If we win we probably will get in.

The Kentucky loss sucks but even if we were to win that game, they probably wouldn’t have put us in if we were 10-2 with losses to LSU and Georgia because of no quality wins.

IF we win next week then our next 2 games are at Florida and hosting MSU.

Florida’s defense is solid but if that Penn transfer is the starter, we should easily win.

As long as our defense shows up for the Egg Bowl, we should easily win that.
