North Carolina transfer guard Ian Jackson, who is very much on Ole Miss' radar, is visiting St. John's Sunday and Monday.

Baylor guard Rob Wright is rumored to be heading to BYU. There are rumors that he's getting as much as $3.5 million. No idea if true, but it's out there. Wild if so.

Ole Miss will get a visit this weekend from Middle Tennessee transfer guard Jestin Porter. He's a 6-foot-1 Houston native who scored 15 points per game for the Blue Raiders last season.

Jacksonville State transfer portal guard Jaron Pierre Jr. is planning to announce a college choice Monday. Ole Miss, Auburn, SMU and Arkansas are the finalists, but keep an eye on SMU. He's also keeping his NBA options open, so this one won't end on Monday. There is some speculation he's visiting Arkansas this weekend.

More as I get it this weekend. I'm out of town and a little out of pocket this weekend, but I've got calls out.

Update 3:02 p.m. Friday: Hearing Pierre is in Oxford now. There's a lot of talk, positively and negatively, around this one. Not really sure what I expect.

Update 8 a.m. Sunday: Louisville guard Koren Johnson was on campus at Ole Miss yesterday.

Further, Jaron Pierre Jr. apparently spent Friday at Arkansas and Saturday at Ole Miss. At this point, no idea on who -- if anyone -- leads.

I'm going to be driving most of the day today so I am going to be mostly out of pocket. I think we'll see some decisions made all over the SEC early this week.

Update 4:50 p.m. Sunday: Ole Miss has two visitors on campus -- Mackenzie Mgbako and Bryson Tucker.
