FIRST:

The blue team started out strong against Chris Ellis with a string of singles by Mathis, Wilson, and Bousfield. A stolen base by Perdzock (running for Mathis) allows him to advance enough to score a run. Turner with a sac fly scores Wilson and advances Bousfield to second, but is thrown out at third. P. Overbey ends the inning with a strikeout swinging.

SECOND:
The red team goes into the second inning strong against Laxer with a single by Dishon. A hit by J. Overybey to Gatlin at 2nd allows for a double play. Helsel grounds out to first to end it for the red team in the second.

The blue team gets two caught balls to make it two outs. (Gatlin to RF, Perdzock to Orvis) Knight responds with a hit to J. Overbey who doesn't throw it in time to first, and he is safe. Ellis walks Mathis, but gets Wilson out at first to hold them.

THIRD:
Hawtin Buchanan (21) comes in for Laxer (20) to pitch against the red team.
Gibbs hits a ball to P. Overbey, bobbled and he is safe at first. Jamison hits a ground ball to right, Gibbs advances to third. First and third. Allen hits to P. Overbey and is out at first, Gibbs scores and Jamison advances to third. Orvis with a clutch hit right under Gatlin's diving body allows Jamison to score. Buchanan throws a pitch in front of batter's box dirt, allows Orvis to steal second. 2-0 count to Mistone, and hits straight to first baseman to end it.

Brady Bramlett (18) comes in to pitch for Ellis (10).
Bousfield starts out with a ball right at J. Overbey to be out. Turner puts one just behind second base in no man's land for a single. P. Overbey with his second strikeout of the day. Gatlin gets a HBP, with Bousfield in to run for him. He gets another shot and rolls a grounder to J. Overbey, Turner is out at second.

FOURTH:
Buchanan struggles this inning with back to back to back walks by Dishon, J. Overbey, and Helsel. A sac fly from Gibbs to center field allows Dishon to score. Jamison is also walked, bases loaded again. Allen hits it into a double play.

Bramlett starts out hot getting Perdzock and Knight to hit it right at Helsel at second for two outs. Mathis hits it to J. Overbey and is safe at first (Gatlin runs for him). Wilson gets HBP (Knight runs for him). Wilson gets another shot and hits it to J. Overbey to be thrown out at first.

FIFTH:
Jacob Waguespack (2) comes in to pitch for Buchanan (21). Tyler Jackson (33) replaces Bousfield (9) in center field. Orvis hits the first homerun of the season into the visitor bullpen. Mistone gets a single. Dishon is out, but allows Mistone to advance to second. J. Overbey is thrown out at first by his brother P. Overbey, and makes Mistone stay at second. Helsel leaves Mistone stranded with a strike out looking.

Sam Smith (29) replaces Bramlett (18) on the mound. Christian Helsel (34) and Jake Overbey (22) swap places. Helsel to shortstop, J. Overbey to second. Smith has a quick first outing for the blue team, getting Bousfield to pop up, Turner out at first, and Jackson's pop up caught by J. Overbey.

SIXTH:
Tyler Jackson (33) moves to right field, Cameron Dishon (14) to center field. John Gatlin (36) and Lance Wilson (6) swap places. Gatlin moves to shortstop, Wilson to second.
(Situational play) Runner on second, Jamison drops a PERFECT bunt right in front of the dirt. ALMOST SAFE. Waguespack is strong getting Gibbs and Jamison to roll it to the short stop, both out at first. Allows Allen to walk. Ends inning with Orvis hitting it at shortstop again to be out at first.

Will Jamison (4) goes to center field. Cameron Dishon (14) goes to right field.
P. Overbey gets his first hit of the day to third base and is safe at first. Gatlin and Jackson both pop up and are out. Knight hits it to Mistone, who bobbles the ball and barely gets the out at first.

SEVENTH:
Luke Gibbs (11) comes in from the red team to replace Preston Overbey (1) at third. Matt Denny (16) comes in for Jacob Waguespack (2) to pitch. Denny has a strong first inning getting Mistone to pop up to right, Dishon getting out at first, and J. Overbey pops up to center.

Scott Ashford (13) comes in for Sam Smith (29) to pitch.
Ashford gets Mathis to get out at first and Wilson to pop up to J. Overbey. Bousfield hits in between center and right field, and Dishon misses it. He is safe at first. Dishon catches a Turner fly ball to end the inning.

EIGHTH:
Christian Helsel (34) on the red team comes in to play third base for Luke Gibbs (11), who is also on red. Denny gets Gibbs out at first. Jamison comes back and knocks one to the right field wall and has a triple. Orvis comes back up with his second home run of the day in the exact same spot (visitor bullpen). Allen hits a double that bounces off the left field wall. Mistone grounds it to second and is out at first. Dishon rolls the ball just behind the mound, but Helsel makes a fast, beautiful play to throw him out at first.

Ashford allows Gatlin to walk. Perdzock hits a shot down the third base line and is safe at second. Mathis is out at first, but it drives Gatlin in. Knight hits the ball under J. Overbey's diving body and is safe at first. Jackson flies out to left, no one advances. Wilson hits a ball to left that looks like it will drop, but Gibbs comes out of nowhere to dive and make the catch. Ball game.

Final: 7-4 RED
