Destin vacation question

Beach or Bay? Where do you suggest? I'm considering a condo at Baytowne Wharf with a golf cart included as well as tram service. We always stay on the beach though but that's normally PCB, OB or Perdido. There's a lot more to do in Destin and I'm wanting to get something booked tonight. Any suggestions from personal experiences appreciated.
