While we definity want Dart to get down and not take hits, we also need him to get first downs when he has the chance. The 4 down stop at the goal line he had the first down on the play before, but slide feet first and cost us 3 yards. If he had gone head first or ran a little bit further and got the first then slid, we probably score a TD on that drive (and would be up 10 at half probably). Early in the first half he did it and instead of 4rd and 1, it was 4rd and 4 and we had to punt. Its refs discretion where the slide starts - just frustrating he slid too early and they turned out to be drive killers. Happened several times in key moments this year.
