Thought OL probably played their best game of the season as a collective. Did a really good job of protecting. Run scheme was really good. Did a lot of things to give themselves a chance. Execution wasn’t necessarily great at times, but liked the plan. With Harris being out, they were in 12 personnel a lot more than normal. So TE numbers are inflated a bit. Oklahoma made sure they limited tempo with cramps. Dart was really good.
Thought Oklahoma came out and ran the ball really effective early in game to give themselves some manageable 3rd downs. Qb extended drives with feet. Too many discipline penalties early in game. Was off field on 3rd down after a personal foul, cost them seven points. Second half was the story of situational football. Oklahoma had too many 3rd and longs and passing downs from playing from behind, Furthering the mismatch in pass rush.
Double digit dub at home in the SEC. Need to clean up some execution, but plan was good on both sides of ball. On to the next one.
