There's an excitement around the building. I'm more excited for this spring than for some in the past. Excited to be a better coach, motivator and teacher. Excited for our staff and for Tom Allen who is with a good friend of mine Willie Taggart at South Florida. Excited for Corey Batoon who is a teacher who will help us.
The objective is to get as much talent as possible out of our team for 15 days. We have to develop leadership on this team. We have great leaders, and they will find their niches. We're excited to get on the field today and create competition. Wish we had more O-lineman out there but hopefully they will be ready to go for summer workouts.
Expect Denzel and Laquon to be back. Denzel right now, Laquon after spring break. Conyers will go after spring break. Daronte, Aaron and Laremy won't participate in spring ball. Carlos Davis is after spring break to see. Tee is full go.
First and foremost a lot of credit to Laquon who is trying to be better than ever and worked at it. Our doctors and Pat Jernigan have handled him great and his recovery. Everything is where it should be, if not ahead for the injured guys.
We're going to be very thorough and chart every drill with the QBs. It's going to be competitive with three men. It will be a constant rotation. All equal reps with ones and twos. You want to see who can handle coaching and what we're trying to accomplish and then who executes. I'm excited about all 3 with the way they have prepared.
Tony Bridges and Tee Shepard will both start at corner. Mike Hilton will start out at safety. We'll find the best rotation.
Doubt a QB separation occurs this spring.
Doubt it's a disadvantage that there won't be a starter named after spring.
Jason Patterson will get as many reps as he wants. He'll be looked at quickly.
Linebacker is the area we have to get settled on. We'll be good at safety. At linebacker there are concerns about who exactly the guys are. CJ Johnson will get a look at middle linebacker. He can always move back to end, but we'll see how he performs.
For the running backs it's about taking care of the ball. Love what I've seen from Jordan Wilkins. Akeem Judd has lost weight and looks really good. Brazley does, too. May look at DK Buford there. We know what Jaylen can do. He may not get as many reps this spring.
Tre Elston and Demore'ea Stringfellow will face consequences in the fall for off-the-field issue.

Chad Kelly is going to Haiti on the mission trip. Leadership is 24 hours a day, Freeze said. About 30 members of the program going on the trip. "Adopted" a village there.
