.... idiotic of course, but it would seem going forward, there will be a lot of really good high school players that won't get offered scholarships as proven players are easily poached off of other school's rosters.

Unless a player is, say a top 50 talent, I think we might see minimal HS NiLs offered because schools don't want to pay NiLs to see that player transfer (dissatifaction on lack of playing time and redshirting) as freshmen or sophs.

Big money boosters are going to expect NC's from their investments, and small ones too. And out of 122, there is only 1 of them each year.

I can see smaller schools start limiting their scholarship rosters to reflect pro rosters, say from 85 to 60 or so as to have money to buy higher quality, not quanity.

And the elephant in the room is salary caps and contracts....when will that happen? Looks like never....

Of course, the market is getting to the stage where any economic principle is out the window in today's wild west. Your thoughts?
