The Rebels and Governors get together for Ole Miss' penultimate nonconference game of the season. UT Martin is in a couple weeks before the Rebels finish off the regular season with Auburn at home. The Govs are 34-10 and 18-3 in the Atlantic Sun with a 104 RPI and 285 strength of schedule. AP is 0-1 against the RPI top 50 and 7-5 against 51-100. It's not a game that's going to really hurt you, but considering how the teams are bunched up around RPI 12-19, I'd think it's not a bad idea to win it. You need a rainout against the Skyhawks later on.
Austin Peay hits it really well, averaging 9.7 runs per game. The Governors average more than seven walks plus hit batters per game.
Lefty Chance Cox was good against Purdue last week.
