This year has been quite the year. Started for me in May. Had a road trip with my wife and ended up having a stroke when we got home. Turns out I had a heart defect I was never aware of. That's since been fixed and I've made a full recovery.
About a week ago my wife had her first episode of trigeminal neuralgia, which is the most painful disease known to man and has the highest suicide rate of any disease process. Thankfully she's been responding to meds, but this is usually a chronic thing and can be very taxing on people.
Finally, today is my birthday (turning 36), which is great, but my sister just had an emergency C-section at 29 weeks due to health complications. Both she and baby seem to be doing great, thankfully.
We could sure use some prayers to get out from this storm and back into some sun. Would certainly welcome a rainbow to remind me of God's love and presence.
