So 50 is coming up in 2025 and I want to do an amazing trip. Wife balked at Maldives. Time of year isn’t important and I would prefer to go somewhere while school is in and it is still warm. So leaning September so we can get in the water. Possibly 2 weeks. I have 1M bonvoy pts and a couple hundred thousand for flights. So it’s not going to cost a lot from that perspective and Bonvoy has a lot of resorts in Greece and Italy, Croatia the major spots are good and we may hit Montenegro quickly.
For those who have been would you do Italy (Venice, Florence, Rome, Amalfi), Greece (Athens for 2-3 days see the sights, then Crete, and other islands) or Croatia (start north and work to Split, Brac Island, then Dubrovnik and maybe an island off Montenegro.)

I did consider Argentina and Uruguay for March since it’s still warm and can hit beaches, but leaning more to Europe.
