Thought I would stop by and field some questions about
the Under Armour Game and Underclassmen Combine now that I'm back home
and into my regular workflow.

I know posts from the practices,
etc. were a little sporadic, but the goal was to churn out as much
content as possible so some of the stuff might have gotten lost in the
shuffle. Either way, I'll share my thoughts here on Ole Miss targets Robert Nkemdiche and Antonio Conner, and take questions on this
thread throughout the day on Monday and Tuesday. I'm doing this on several boards,
but I will check back throughout the day to answer questions.

DE Robert Nkemdiche -- I think if you read the practice reports throughout the week there's no doubt Nkemdiche lived up to the hype. Obviously his game stats weren't anything impressive, but if you watched the game you saw exactly what he brings to a defense. It takes 2-3 all-star caliber players to keep him from blowing up plays on the regular. At the next level, teams can't afford to throw that much attention at him without someone else on the defense (like his brother) benefiting greatly. As far as his recruiting status, I'm sold that he'll end up at Ole Miss, it's just a matter of when and who he brings with him. I know he's flirting with LSU quite a bit and the Tigers might even get a visit, but until he clearly indicates otherwise, look for him to land with the Rebels.

S Antonio Conner -- While he didn't have a standout week, Conner more than held is own and showed that he's more than capable of competing with the nation's top talent. He's another player who has been talking quite a bit about his options, but when all is said and done I still think he lands with Ole Miss. Often times a player like Conner sees the attention that stirring the pot a little can bring and I think he sort of relished the spotlight this week. Had there been enough slots during the game for him to announce his decision I believe he would have done it, but I think the folks at ESPN sort of over promised and underdelivered when it came to giving airtime to guys to make their choices. A couple of players who planned on announcing on TV actually ended up announcing during the week after they were told they didn't have a spot on TV and they weren't happy about it. Either way, look for Conner to play it out a little bit before ending up at Ole Miss.
