Rebel Coin Roadmap
Rebel Coin was launched in November. You can access Rebel Coin by downloading phantom wallet on the App Store and searching for ticker symbol Olemiss. Phantom works on the Solana blockchain, therefore if you already have Solana coins on Coinbase, for example, you can transfer your Solana coins to phantom wallet and swap for Rebel Coin.
The total supply of Rebel Coin is 1 Billion coins.
25% (250 million coins) are being set aside for former players. All letter-winning athletes at Ole Miss, regardless of sport, are eligible for this “air drop”. They can get their allocation by emailing RebelCoin24@gmail.com and sending a link to their phantom wallet. The first 100 former letter winning Ole Miss athletes to contact Rebel Coin are eligible to receive 1 million coins each. The next 100 will be eligible to receive 500,000 coins. The last 100 million coins of this allocation will go 100,000 each to the next 1,000 claimants who qualify. Limit one allocation per athlete.

The other 500 million coins are eligible to be bought by anyone; and are tradable now. So far, after one message board post, there are just 10 holders…however, the market cap of Rebel Coin is already 47k!
Some will buy just for selfish reasons. And that’s ok. The community doesn’t discriminate based on that. But, the key to success of this project would be a “buy and hold” strategy. Think of this as a creative way for Rebel Fans to use a new technology to make a big impact in the coming years by getting in early and staying for a long time. Imagine securing an allocation or buying coins and then using your bag (hopefully appreciating!) to make your future GC contribution…
*Vesting schedule:
All air drop allocations (former players and GC) will be sent 10% a year for the first 5 years. And then 5% a year for the next 10 years after that. Distributions will be made each year the week of Thanksgiving.
