Neal is in Mobile, Ala., this week to provide coverage of the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Football Classic. He'll talk to all the players with Ole Miss interest and report on the comings and goings down there.
Meanwhile, I'm about to write a DJ Hayden update. The Houston cornerback commit confirmed he is visiting Ole Miss Wedensday and will also visit Oklahoma State Dec. 17.
Victor Valley C.C. cornerback Johntell Franklin says he is visiting Texas A&M Wednesday and Ole Miss this weekend. He claims offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Colorado State, Hawaii, Minnesota, Ole Miss, Miss. State, Oklahoma State, SMU and Texas A&M. Honestly, I have no idea if that all is accurate or not. I know he did just wrap up an official visit to Hawaii. Also, he's a December grad. We'll tell you more when we know it.
East Miss. CC's Izauea Lanier was believed to be visiting Ole Miss this weekend, but this article from the Tennessee Rivals site never mentions those plans. It says Lanier will check out Tennessee or Florida, and that's it.
Coffeyville CC defensive tackle Sylvester Williams is visiting Oklahoma State this weekend and will decide between USC, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State and Georgia sometime next week.

Here's a story from the Cincinnati site on Ralph David Abernathy saying he almost committed to Ole Miss during the summer because of "a full-court press." That's crap. They like Ralph David. He's an outstanding kid -- one of my favorites -- but he didn't have a committable offer.
