Saw on Twitter last night that Todd Mays has committed to Arkansas State. As you remember, Devin Mondie did the same last week. Ole Miss hasn't offered either player to this point.
Running back is the interesting position right now. Ole Miss wants to add another, but I'm not sure what names are logical right now. Akeel Lynch committed to Penn State last night. Shadrach Thornton seems to have tightened up his NC State commitment and leaned toward not visiting Ole Miss as of last night. We'll follow him throughout the week. Illinois offered Fabian Moreau over the weekend, and he's leaning toward visiting the Illini on the final weekend. Moreau told me on Friday -- I think Friday -- that he hasn't scheduled anything with Ole Miss. Marion Grice is out there, but TAMU parted ways with him due to academics, per sources.
We'll find out more about the official visitors for this weekend as it moves along. As of this second, I expect Richie Brown, Carl Mitchell, Devin Mondie, Dexter Holmes (maybe), Antony Boutet and Robert Conyers. There will be adds, and probably a subtraction or two, so don't do anything with this list except look at it. We'll check in to see what Joseph Jackson is planning to do, as well. Not sure if Lynch has any thoughts at all to visiting or not.
We mentioned Junior Gnonkonde yesterday as a new name out there Ole Miss has inquired about. Linked below is an article in the AJC about him. Ole Miss isn't mentioned.
