Linebacker Khalid Henderson was visited by Kentucky yesterday and will visit the Cats this weekend. Ole Miss coaches are expected to visit him on Wednesday.

Oxford, Ala., cornerback Trae Elston is likely switching his weekend visit from Oklahoma State to LSU, according to this interview by TigerBait.com. Elston spent "30 minutes to an hour" talking to LSU coaches on Monday.

However, he continues to give the Ole Miss visit a high grade.

"It went very well," Elston said. "I'm excited about Ole Miss and their new coaches and the way they're trying to change that program. I'm excited about the team."

I heard last night that Sheldon Dawson agreed to visit Ole Miss this weekend while visiting with Hugh Freeze and Maurice Harris. I'll attempt to get that verified through Sheldon today.

There's a lot of information out there right now about potential visitors and who is or isn't coming. In order to be accurate, we're going to hold off on that right now and have some patience because frankly we're not sure what's accurate. Instead of speculating, we'll let you know when we feel confident about it or when we're quoting prospects. At this stage, we feel it best to take the recruits' words for it.

Here's the deal with Ruston, La., cornerback Kentrell Brice. He committed to Ole Miss last week and again on Sunday but wanted to hold off on a public announcement until this week. He talked to Neal yesterday and gave him quotes about his Ole Miss commitment with the understanding that the story wouldn't run until 7 a.m. this morning. Brice called Neal at 10:20 last night to ask him to hold off on the story because he wasn't sure. Oklahoma and Louisiana Tech are still in this thing to some level. As Neal said last night, Brice never committed to Oregon State.

As of this moment, Ole Miss is expecting 15 official visitors and three unofficial visitors this weekend. That will change, but it is what it is.

Ole Miss is out on linebacker Joseph Jackson and running back Fabian Moreau.

The Rebels' first junior day is this weekend. It's invitation only and will probably consist of 20-25 top guys.
