I think everyone has just assumed that the Big XII is getting the 4 seed in the playoff. But here's a wrinkle I just thought of. Seeds 1-4 go to the top four ranked conference champions.
Could Boise State get the #4 seed? They're currently 4-1 with only a 3pt loss in Eugene. They go to UNLV later this month and finish the year with Oregon State at home. Plus a MWC CG. They're currently ranked #17 have to think if they finish 12-1 they'll be ranked near or in the top ten.
So who's winning the Big XII? Well BYU and ISU are the only overall undefeated teams and they don't play each other. Both BYU and ISU have to play at Utah. Cyclones also have to host KSU. And of course don't count out Utah if they can beat ISU & BYU. Then it seems like there'd be a rematch in Arlington.
Current Big XII ranked teams - ISU (11), BYU (14), Utah (16), & KSU (18).
