Don’t think there is really any hyperbole to it - we haven’t played many regular season games with this much at stake in a single game. Win and you host and get a clean reset and path forward that wipes away the past two years. Lose and you are probably a 2 seed without a magical Hoover run which could put some pressure on next season. Pretty fascinating.
Something else that’s always been interesting to me are the crazy variations in how the park plays. Earlier in the year before the humidity, it can play like a coffin. As we saw yesterday with humidity and a little wind, every fly ball is an adventure. Going to play very small like that again today.
