I’m sure you’ve touched on it before and I may have missed it @Neal McCready, but I was wondering what your thoughts were on the more restrictive CBA in the NBA that is now a hard reality for many teams, my Celtics included? I get it from the NBA side, they want each season to be a complete mystery as to who could win the championship and provide parity for fan bases and balance across the league. On the side of the teams it makes it nearly impossible to repeat, much less go on a run like the Warriors/Spurs/Heat did this century. In some ways, it feels almost like a punishment if you draft well and develop talent (Tatum, Brown) and they end up hitting and you pay them for on par with the rest of the stars in the league for what they’ve done on the court. It’s definitely interesting as an NBA fan to see how the offseason will play out for every team near the top.
