Ole Miss is expecting at four official visitors this weekend -- Hinds (Miss.) CC WRs Quadarias Mireles and Quintavious Leslie, East Mississippi CC DT Darious Cummings and Arizona Western CC TE Cameron Clear. A source close to the program said this morning this is no chance of any other official visitors coming to Oxford this weekend.

Mireles is committed to Ole Miss and figures prominently in the Rebels' plans next season. The Rebels would love to pull Leslie away from LSU and to Ole Miss, as he would give them the big target they're currently lacking.

Chase knows a lot more about Cummings' situation than I do, so I'll let him address it momentarily. As for Clear, the former Tennessee tight end is hoping for an Ole Miss offer this weekend, and if he gets it, I'm hearing he might jump at it. We'll attempt to get in touch with him soon. Even with the commitments of Evan Engram and Christian Morgan, Ole Miss needs help at tight end. It's possible Jeremy Liggins could fit into that picture as well, but it's important to note he does not yet have a qualifying ACT or SAT score, so much of the speculation about his future remains premature at this time. He recently took the test, I'm told.

There will be more than a handful of unofficial visitors this weekend, possibly including Auburn commitments/Ole Miss targets Jordan Wilkins (RB/Memphis) and Jeremy Johnson (QB/Montgomery, Ala.). Ole Miss would love to beat the Tigers, further enhance the questions around the Auburn program and get Wilkins and/or Johnson to reconsider the Rebels. Both have firm offers.

I'm a professional journalist, so I hate to bury the lead here, but in this case, I'm almost glad I'm doing it. We're hearing Loganville, Ga., DE Robert Nkemdiche, the nation's No. 1-ranked prospect, will be back in Oxford Saturday. It will be the fourth time this season Nkemdiche has attended an Ole Miss home game, and it's becoming a poorly kept secret that he's having strong second thoughts about his commitment to Clemson. His brother, Denzel Nkemdiche, is fifth in the SEC in tackles (38) and has emerged as a team leader in Oxford. His parents want him to play with Denzel (they'd have three years together at Ole Miss, and here's where perception is reality: Robert believes he's three-and-done to the NFL, so he'd never have to play without his brother at the college level) and the Rebels have been more competitive on the field that Robert believed they would be.

We're hearing from sources close to the Clemson and Ole Miss programs that a switch could occur soon. We've heard a specific rumor regarding a specific date for a switch, but there's not enough substance there to repeat it, so we won't. However, suffice it to say, we believe the rumors have some real credibility and we _ at this point in time _ expect Nkemdiche to sign with Ole Miss.

How does that affect Nkemdiche's Grayson High School teammates, CB David Kamara and S Ryan Carter? We've been told nothing new recently, but we believe both prospects have legitimate offers from Ole Miss that are not contingent on Nkemdiche's signature.

To reiterate, I'm told there is no chance _ "none," a source close to the program said _ that Ole Miss has other official visitors this weekend. I take that to mean no Derrick Green and no Laquon Treadwell. Ole Miss wants both players to take official visits to Oxford on non-football weekends.

Little more on Cummings: He has offers from Ole Miss, MSU, Arkansas and Texas A&M. Florida is also showing interest and seems to be trying to become a major player. Cummings plans to officially visit Arkansas when it plays Kentucky next week and TAMU when it plays Mizzou.Cummings was a 4-star recruit out of high school who signed with Florida State in the 2010 class. Other than Marquel Combs, depending on Combs' academic situation, Cummings seems to be Ole Miss' top JUCO defensive tackle target along with Hutchinson CC's Toby Johnson, who lived in Mississippi as a child.

Ole Miss remains in the game for wide receiver Jonathan Rumph, though a clear pecking order hasn't really been announced. Tennessee is rumored to be ahead, and he's visited Ole Miss, UT and MSU. He's headed to Texas Tech this weekend, according to Kipp Adams, and he's likely going to Georgia for an official visit when the Bulldogs play Ole Miss.

Ole Miss commits Rashawn Smith and Finesse Middleton were announced as members of the Alabama roster for the Alabama-Mississippi All Star Football Classic or whatever it's called. Alabama has won four in a row, including last year's game, 31-12. Mississippi will release its roster next week. Hopefully it won't be a head-scratcher like two years ago when Donte Moncrief wasn't on the team.

Devante Kincade told me this morning the kickoff time Saturday is killing him regarding his unofficial visit to see Oxford and Ole Miss for the first time. He's still trying to find out if it's doable. He plays in Richardson Friday night.
