This game effectively killed the BCS. It was a joke and everyone with eyes knew a blowout was coming. And it did. They were up 35-0 mid 3Q.
And then TCU getting dropped for absolutely zero reason murdered the 4 team model.
I can’t wait for the results this post-season to destroy the stupidity of this model. Boise State — with the 93rd SOS — gets a bye. SMU — with the 75 SOS and no wins over a ranked team — gets in. Clemson, who had 188 yards and lost 38-3 to #2 Georgia, is in.
The two teams who finished 9-3, had top 10 metrics across the board, and are the only two losses for the #2 team in the CFP are out.
Take the 12 best teams. This design is the dumbest way to do it. I cannot wait to pay back for Christmas betting these games. Nothing like free presents.
