"Big", whether it be NIL, school, war chest, whatever, is not an automatic guarantee of being superior to other programs. LSU and A$M both have a lot more "stars" on their roster than we do. Culture, esprit de corps, coaching also matter. A lot.
LSU and A&M frankly have a culture around their schools that often keeps them from achieving up to their potential. I think the same will be true of Alabama after Don Niccolo leaves. I"m not worried about "failing to keep up with the big boys", not with the motivated fan base we now have. We are a school that can expect to make the 12 team playoff at least 1 out of every 3 years.
