Baseball was my first sport. I love it. Watching us win a natty with my (then 5) son is one of the greatest memories of my life.
Last night I didn’t turn the game on. I watched one inning of the Alabama series. I was in Oxford this weekend and didn’t even think about going to the games. I think a big part of the issue is the at home performance over the last 4 years. Dating back to Tennessee Tech, we’ve basically had no home field advantage. It isn’t loud. The product is stale (sweet Caroline, etc) and the team doesn’t win. It’s just not that fun anymore.
ADKC- this is the biggest issue. When the people that care stop caring, it’s time for change. Otherwise, it may just be too easy to not get back in. Let him retire or fire him. Nobody is above the program.
