Hey guys my wife was hit by a young lady Saturday while stopped at a red light. Well the car has insurance but the man’s daughter isn’t covered under that insurance. So their insurance isn’t going to pay.
The man has promised me he would pay to fix the truck. But I know how that crap goes. Plus while no serious injuries my wife is sore and has had a headache and has gone to the hospital. So I don’t think the owner of the other car realizes how much repairs and medical costs are going to be.
I think I should just file on my uninsured motorist. Will my insurance company then sue him? Will my insurance take a negative hit now? Will my insurance also pay the medical plus pain and suffering? Do I have to just sue the guy? If I do sue him there is the matter of actually collecting.
So just looking for information and advice.
