I was at customer’s crawfish boil event tonight. A group of us was talking and a lady was walking by decked out in auburn gear. A guy yell out Hotty Toddy. She yelled Hotty Toddy back and said she is an ole miss fan. She went on to tell us, she is auburn fan now because, her son transferred there. Told us her son is Austin Key.
We all talked about Austin, Freeze and reason for transferring etc. she was super nice and seemed to be super honest about it.
Nil came up. She laughed and said he makes more than me. She admitted it’s a business now. She didn’t give exact amount but said Austin got enough upfront to buy him a good truck and is getting 8900 a month roughly after taxes. Which I didn’t expect him to get that much. Freeze, also promised him to start.
Another interesting thing with taxes was a friend of Austin’s. The friend/family didn’t want taxes taken out. Didn’t say who or what school. But, the kid owed 37,000 in taxes for 2022.
