Jeremiah Masoli, QB, Mississippi

Many assume Masoli will be handed the starting job at Mississippi, but we don't see it. His style of play isn't compatible with the offense Mississippi has been practicing all year, and it's hard to see him beating out Nathan Stanley for the job. Mississippi didn't allow Masoli to join the team until backup Raymond Cotton left the team, so we think he was brought in strictly as a backup/wildcat specialist.

It was sarcasm. My point was that it's ridiculous to discount analysis on CBSSports.com in 2010 because of something that happened on CBS News several years ago. It's a sign of the times that everything, even one man's opinion on a SPORTS website, has to be politicized. It's also a sign of the times that someone can simply write off something they don't agree with and chalk it up to "liberalism." We've all gone off the deep end.

I'm not donating to it but I dont have a problem with it. This country has always maintained the principle of freedom of religion and unlike some I'm not willing to let the actions of a few radical maniacs change the basic fundamentals of our society.

Those who don't like the idea of religious freedom should feel free to move to a country that doesn't have it...like Iran for instance.

well, this discussion should now be moved to non-sports board...

but to justify a mosque at GZ to "religious freedom" shows a complete lack of understanding of what "religious freedom" means.

there are over 20 mosques in NYC...so CLEARLY no ones religion is being prohibited in NYC. build mosque all day long. JUST NOT THERE!

why is it that everyone must be tolerant of muslims.... yet we ask that muslims be tolerant of NOTHING or no one?

oh yeah... do a quick historical study into "Corodoba"... which is the name of the proposed mosque... (hint: its a town in spain that was conquered by muslims... and where the largest cathlic church was turned into a mosque...) feel free to flame away.

now please back to sports.

Seeing as how Muslims are so intolerant, can you show me one instance in America where they tried to keep a christian center from opening?

You can think whatever you like, but the biggest threat to the basic principles of religious freedom in this country isn't Islam, it's radical Christianity.

Not all of us has gone of the deep end. I am a realist. But with regard to CBS, I thought their sports analysis sucked and Dan Rather made schit up and tried to pass it off as fact. Pretty simple really.

Islam is NOT a religion... it is a way of life. I suggest you read the Koran. You will find that the intent of Islam is world dominance, and those mainiacs want to change the "basic fundamentals of our society". The are advocating right now that America become Sharia compliant. Finally, I am all for freedom of religion, just don't want it crammed down my throat.

the proposed mosque is not AT ground zero. it's 3 blocks away. god, guns, and gays............this is yet another non-issue attempt to galvanize the right.
