@Chase Parham you could not BE any MORE SPOT ON about the Elko statue. I am SOOO glad somebody else (with actual standing) feels this way—& is saying so….publicly.
This idea has bothered me since the Champ. Celebration Day @ Swayze when ADKC, et al—floated the notion of building an “Elko Statue”.
I mean NO disrespect & would take nothing from him. I absolutely love our “Captain”, his story & everything that Tim Elko represents. But let’s not get it twisted—this was a TOTAL TEAM story. And should be depicted as such.
Does anyone know if the statue has already been commissioned? Or, if there’s any room for discussion or alternative suggestions?
