When I lived in Southern California, I hand a close friend who worked for Disneyland full-time. He told a lot about their training. He said that all workers are called "cast members" including those who walk around in white jump-suits picking up trash. He said workers are told that they are performing in front of an audience and thus, you are to "be on at all times." It is a pretty neat idea/concept that I believe was created by Walt Disney.
