End of the Season CFB Stop Rate (per the Athletic)

As a reminder, this is a statistic from The Athletic that gives a percentage of drives that an opponents drive ended in a non-point scoring change of possession (turnover on downs, turnover, punt, missed PATs). Games against FCS schools have been filtered out, and drives where a team kneeled it out or the half ended have also been filtered out.

Rebs ended up 34th overall, and the 5th best team in the SEC. I first posted the numbers at the halfway mark, and the Rebs were sitting at 84th at the time with a stop rate of 58.6% and 2.34 points/drive. From 2022 to 2023 we improved by 65 spots (79th, 62.6%, 2.19 pts/dr).

SEC had three teams in the 100s, LSU, Florida, and Vanderbilt.

The top four schools were all from the Big 10 and then the rest are the SEC schools:
