Dont take this as a “all is well” post.
Like most, I was pissed with Saturday’s performance. The lack of development/talent/production in areas of OL, WR, TE and RB and inability to get off the field on 3rd and longs.
OM fans wanted this to be the game that OM takes that next step but it simply didn’t happen.
However, we are still on schedule to have a solid year (8-4/7-5 were most folks predictions I believe) and I think the healthier we get, the more explosive we will be on offense and stingier on defense.
Unfortunately, the SEC decided to have a down year when OM is essentially 1 year away from competing for Atlanta (typical).
2024 has always been the year for higher expectations.
A win against LSU will make everyone quickly forget about this loss to Bama.
