His resolution won’t pass - probably won’t even get a vote - but I think he recognizes the peril the party is putting the down ballot races in by agreeing to pay for Trump’s legal bills, as Lara Trump has suggested the RNC is preparing to do.
I remember when the Saints traded away two whole drafts for Ricky Williams. That feels like what is about to happen - to give a sports analogy. Maybe there is a Drew Brees waiting in the wings.
