So my club is hosting the Monday Qualifier for the Waste Management Phoenix Open. For those who don’t know, it’s a one round qualifying event for pros with limited/no status on tour. A friend of mine knows a young pro who is in the field and asked if I’d be willing to caddy for him, as I know the course extremely well. I love being around that level of play so I say sure, and the kid reaches out to me. I google him and turns out he’s a State golf alum.. he has no idea I’m an Ole Miss alum.
