That MSU ran off Stans because of a lack of discipline in the program and his connections with AAU ball. The word was that they wanted a coach to clean up the program and distance the program from the AAU stench. No one would take the job with these restrictions so Ray was hired. After 3 losing seasons he is summarily canned and they hire a coach who is no different than Stans. Just because he went to 3 final fours makes it a home run hire but no one wants to discuss the end of his tenure at Pauley. Name one coach who was fired after winning a conference championship. Let the cheating begin
