As you know my entire living family went to UVA. I had discussion with my sister tonight and she brought up the Ole MIss thing. To put it some perspective she came down with me, with my parents almost 40 years ago to bring me to school.she was at my undergraduate graduation and my law school graduation. She has been here to visit and for wedding ect. All 3 of her daughters were cheerleaders at UVA. 1 went law school and the the other 2 are at Georgetown doing some weird post graduate work.
To make a long story short they have always referred to my school at Ole Miss. In fact when niece number 1 was applying to law school she commented about the difficulty getting into Ole Miss law school was ( new, low tuition and good rep).
She basically opened up the subject and after about 30 minutes she said," You Chancellor brought this stuff up"? When I again said yes her only comment was " he is not very smart is he"?
I think that sums it all up for me!!!
