Clemson was spoiled by Trevor Lawrence and just has not produced at the QB position. Also, just a very few years ago, Clemson had defensive lines that were stock full of early round NFL Draft choices. There is quite a drop off there, too.
He publicly stated his disdain for NIL when it started. Of course, Clemson had been paying "under the table" for years.
His prior successes will keep him off the "hot seat" for now but boosters will not be patient forever.
