To me, it feels like Beard is replicating Kiffin after Year 1.
Year 1: Takes what is given, you see the potential but inconsistent, season ends with meh (although winning 20 games in year 1 isn't meh at OM)
Both flipped the roster in their 1st offseason. Lane won 10 games the following year. I expect Beard to take that big jump too. Just feels the same to me.
