That 4th down attempt at midfield in the 3rd Quarter when we had the lead and our defense was playing well was a great example of how poor Kiffin manages games. WTF was he thinking? That decision almost cost us the game. Arky drove down, kicked a FG then scored another ten unanswered points before we called a miracle 4th down play on our own 30 yard line to keep the drive going. We had several drives where Arkansas penalties helped us tremendously. We easily could have lost that game by more than a TD.
Arky OL was struggling. Our D was doing fairly well at that point and our offense can’t get short yardage gains unless Q is in shotgun. Not to mention the play call was a joke on that 3Q fourth down play. It’s painful to watch that. It’s something Kiffin has got to improve on or we’ll never take that next step.
