This playoff format is absolutely horrible. The Braves had 6 days off between their final game and the first playoff game. 6 freaking days. That is absolutely disgraceful. That’s an eternity for a baseball team. You lose timing and rhythm over that amount of time. You are punishing the top two teams in the league instead of rewarding them for a great season. It’s no coincidence the Dodgers got swept and have won only one game out of their last seven playoff games. Maybe the Braves come back and win the series, but they are at a major disadvantage. Major League Baseball has screwed up big-time in this playoff format. It’s got to change.
