You talked yesterday on OEP about the NFL being popular because if you’re the worst, you get to draft the best player. There’s a light for your team being really bad.
The MLB and NBA don’t act the same, and I think the criticism around the draft order is significantly greater than the accusations of tanking in the NFL. Wemby to the Spurs is a great example.
Would it improve the drafts in those two sports to drop the lottery?
