I could be wrong here; I’ll freely admit it. However, I firmly believe Matt Corral is going to be the starting quarterback in three weeks. I believe that decision has been made internally, and I believe the quarterbacks have been informed.
That is a pretty sturdy limb I am climbing out on. However, based on what I’m being told and things I am hearing, I believe the back up quarterback right now is freshman Kade Renfroe. Again, I could be wrong, but it is what I’m hearing. I just saw a photo gallery posted by Ole Miss football, and I saw no pictures of John Rhys Plumlee playing quarterback. Now, that could mean absolutely nothing, but that is a major breakaway, considering just how much Ole Miss Media Relations has promoted Plumlee over the last year.
