We aren’t paying the buyout for him this year. The only way he leaves is if he retires.
We aren’t going to blow money on a baseball buyout and new hire when we are going all-in on football.
Point being, just go have a beer at the game and accept it for what it is. If we play well, good. If we don’t, you just need to accept that it’s the price we are paying for the natty we won and now being all-in on maximizing our football window.
If you can’t handle that, you need to emotionally disconnect between now and June. It is what it is at this point. Nothing will be done about it until at least after NEXT year. That’s just how it is.
