Long shot, but I’m temporarily living in Louisville and looking for a place to turkey hunt. Has anybody hunted any of the public areas in the area that could point me in the right direction for where to focus my efforts? I got out on Clark State Forest in Indiana yesterday but didn’t find many promising spots. Just trying to see if there are places I should avoid or a specific forest or wma that I should prioritize hunting with my limited time.
Slightly related, but tips on finding good morel mushroom spots would be appreciated as well.
