I've talked with my doctor about trying to get on one of the weight loss drugs. I have BCBS of MS. I'm considered "obese" with my BMI. My weight has always fluctuated up and down but lately no matter staying active or dieting, caloric deficit, etc... it still creeps up.
I don't have a history of heart problems, blood pressure issues, etc etc. The only thing that sucks on my yearly Healthy You is my HDL (always low) and BMI.
Has anyone had any success getting insurance approved without underlying health issues or diabetes?
