I want to buy a lever action rife. Trying to decide between the Rossi R92 (44 mag) and R95 (30-30). I mostly want it for walking in the woods on my land and/or riding into the deer woods on my atv. I won't mount a scope. I am leaning toward the 44. Do any of you have these guns? I originally was looking at a Marlin big boy, however my cousin owns a gun store and he really like the new, cheaper Rossi rifles.
Added: I normally deer hunt with a 30-06 or 7.62x39 (short range). I used to have a Winchester 30-30.....sure wish I hadn't sold it years ago.
