I am turning 40 at the end of December while we will be visiting my wife’s family in Murfreesboro. They have agreed to watch our kids for a few days, if we wanted to go somewhere for 2-3 days. Probably will take a trip later- but looking for something fun to do for maybe 2 nights. Thought about flying somewhere- but it’s kind of a hassle for a short trip. I am looking for something in driving distance that is lodge-esque. Chill, watch bowl games, maybe sit by a fire, smoke a cigar, eat an edible, good food on-site. Something outdoorsy to do during the day= shoot clays, fishing/fly fishing, hike, etc. I have looked at some things online- but figured a good resource would be to ask here for ideas!
