So I'm 34 and trying to get into shape. I've been working out (Insanity actually) for 2 1/2 Weeks. I've been counting my calories and I'm having an issue. I'm not getting enough calories.
I'm eating eggs for breakfast, a Caesar salad with chicken along with protein powder and water for lunch, then for dinner I'm grilling chicken breast or a pork chop or some other type of protein with brown rice and a veggie.
I'm doing protein power and water after my workouts.
But every day I'm still at like 1600-1700 calories. What are some ideas to get good calories to get me to 2100-2300 a day. Do I need more protein at lunch? Add a snack? Eat more eggs?
